I had made no changes as far as connections when my vcr made
recordings in the past. Now, I am getting double audio when i playback
a time recording...the show or movie that i recorded and the voices of
other people. Can anyone tell why this is happening and how to get rid
of it? I taped 2 shows recently, one a half hour and immediately after
an 1 hour show. ..same channel. The first show there were no problems
with the audio, but the second one was the one that i heard double
audio. Why was there no problem in the first, but in the second one?

You don't say whether or not the second audio is remotely related to
the video. Regardless, make sure you haven't accidentally activated the
SAP feature of the VCR's tuner. If a program has no second audio program,
the regular program audio will still be present. If there *is* a SAP, the
"voices of other people" will be present. It fits your symptoms.

I don't see how it could be the sap mode, if the first one recorded
was normal. It was 2 different shows, but continuously recorded for an
1 hour and half.

I'll repeat it one more time, slowly: If the first program had no second
audio program (SAP), its normal audio might well appear in the SAP audio
setting. The second program *had* a SAP, hence the "voices." Understand?

Well, then you better read your VCR's manual. I can't explain it in
simpler terms.
