VCR GE VG4064 - doesn't power on

Hello,

My GE VCR model VG4064 was working fine, but it doesn't turn on now. I
checked the cable, and connected it to an outlet that's proven to have
electrical power, but when the power is pressed nothing happens. Does
this model have a fuse or anything like that? How can I troubleshoot
it?

chances are the small cap in the smps primary needs changing, or could
also be shorted diode on secondary side, you'll need to measure them.
