Samsung Vcr cant set clock

We had a power failure the other night and when the power came back I
tried to set the clock and got a message. For the setup Please wait,
then try again. well i have been waiting for three days. I have shut
it off and turned it back on, unplugged it and plugged it back in and
still get the message. Want to tape something tonight and cant do it
because I cant set it up. Its a Samsung DVD V4600

Manually set the clock, you dont have to let it auto set the thing.

Thanks I was unable to set the clock manually or automatic because all I
got was that message. However, I removed the tape and put another one
in and all in a sudden I could pull up the menu. Not sure why but as
long as its working its ok
