VCR to Computer

Hi

Looking for help to transfer VHS tapes to my computer so that I can burn
them to DVD.
VCR is ancient!! How do I link the VCR to my computer? Do I need special
cables? I am not looking to purchase expensive equipment as I do not have
many to do. All I have at present is the cables from the Camcorder (do not
have the original camcorder tapes) but I cannot see anywhere at the back of
the VCR to connect these cables to.

I have some interest in this myself, and just Googled
"connecting VCR to computer". Too much stuff for me
to attempt a summary, so I suggest you Google it
yourself. Various products with moderate prices, and
links to instructional videos (which I haven't tried yet).

Why not just buy a DVD to VHS recorder
I have a Zenith that records from the tv to DVD or VHS and dubbs VHS to
DVD or DVD To VHS.I pais $128 but right after 6th Ave Electronics had it
for $88 on sale.Works great.

I bought a EZ Grabber from Amazon but although this is supposed to work with
Windows XP I cannot get it to work. I don't have much knowledge with this
sort of thing so I may be doing something wrong.
